These artworks are images of a focused-detail from some of Rodez’s favorite elements & values series original paintings, which he felt were worthy of being their own artwork.

The elements & values series itself is one Rodez describes as breaking all boundaries, traditions, and rules to produce what is purely an expression of freedom. In the series, Rodez has no influence or respect for light, shadow, dimension, perspective, or proportion, but rather he allows himself to be led by the images seen in the abstractions, no matter how they turn out. The art develops a life of its own.
